And this of course, is Paris! The International Communication Association, 2022. Inspired by Jeffrey Lane’s PhD seminar on Qualitative Methods, I wrote up a paper on the rise of vernacular social network sites and presented it here.

With Susan Keith at AEJMC 2023, Washington, DC. I learnt visual methods in Susan’s PhD seminar. We presented a conference paper titled: “Let that sink in: What a visual analysis of Elon Musk’s Twitter acquisition tweets reveals about platform politics.”

I coined a novel term: “frictions.”
